Code of Conduct

• Parents, guardians, and caretakers are responsible for selecting toys that are recommended for your child/children's age. They are posted under the description of each listed toy on www.playpalstoys.com. 

• Parents, guardians, and caretakers are responsible for keeping toys suited for children 3 yrs+ away from younger children. You must pay attention to age recommendations and ‘warning labels' displayed on www.playpalstoys.com and return logs for each toy that you receive. You agree to have read the manufacturer's recommended age, which is indicated under the description of each toy listed on the Site  (www.playpalstoys.com) when making your toy selections.  Warning notifications are also found on each photo return document for a toy and can be found on the 'My Toys' page under 'Packaging Guide for the Toy' ( My Toys / Return Your Toys/ Packaging Guide for the Toy). Parents, guardians, and caretakers should pay heed to warning labels before letting your child/children play with them. In the event, there are any questions/ concerns about the safety labels or functionality of a toy contact us at playteam@playpalstoys.com before use.

•  Parents, guardians, and caretakers are responsible for ensuring that the toys are being used as they are intended in order to ensure the continued safety and functionality of the toy. All toys are inspected for quality and safety before a customer receives them, and therein you shall be responsible for any damages to persons or property that are caused due to improper use of a toy/toys. Parents, guardians, and caretakers agree to supervise playtime.  You agree to treat the rented toys with care as if they were your own.  

• You are responsible if a complete toy is missing or not returned. You agree to pay the residual value of the item which will not exceed 50% of the retail price to replace it.

• You will not be responsible if a toy is partially lost  (defined as a multi-piece toy with one or more pieces). You will not be responsible for normal wear and tear. Normal wear and tear means minor scratches, dents, and marks.  

• You agree to return the toys in a sanitary condition.

Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

Use of Playpals Services and its products is at your own risk. The products provided through this Services are provided  “as is.” Playpals shall not be liable for any punitive, incidental, or consequential damages in connection with the Services or its products, even if Playpals has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Applicable law may not allow the limitation or exclusion of liability for incidental or consequential damages. In no event shall Playpals’s total liability exceed the Subscribership fee. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the Services or any products provided by the service is to stop using the service or its products.

Indemnification

Subscriber agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Playpals, its officers, and agents from damage suffered directly or indirectly as a result of Subscriber’s use of its service. Subscriber agrees to pay any and all costs, damages, and expenses, including, but not limited to, reasonable attorneys’ fees and costs awarded against or otherwise incurred by or in connection with or arising from a claim, suit, action, or proceeding attributable to any such claim.

Privacy Policy

Playpals uses personal information such as your name, address, your child’s information, and credit card details for activities including, but not limited to, account creation, mailing list subscription, purchasing/gifting a membership plan. Payment information and credit card information are collected and processed by a secure third party Site and are not stored. Playpals will not sell or share your personal information to any third-party vendors or for marketing purposes without your permission.

We use cookies to improve and understand how users interact with our Site. Cookies are small pieces of data a website sends to a web browser. Cookies are used to remember information, track web activity, and collect non-personal information. Users may choose to set their web browser to not accept cookies. Mondification of Terms

We may change these Terms from time to time.  Any such changes will become effective upon the earlier of thirty (30) calendar days following our dispatch of an e-mail notice to you (if applicable) or thirty (30) calendar days following our posting of notice of the changes on our Site.  These changes will be effective immediately for new users of our Site or Services.  If you object to any such changes, your sole recourse will be to cease using the Site and the Services.
